The Intro

This review of the Deep Red Woods from Wilson was contributed by Golf Equipment Reviews.info reader Lowell E. Shepler…

The Good

The Wilson Deep Red woods are very well balanced golf clubs. Swing weights consistent and in a “man’s range” (D0 - D2); Easy to use and to maintain.

Graphite shafts (Graphalloy) are especially consistent in the 4 woods I have.

I am an instructor and have a 5 handicap at age 65, having played golf since the age of 7, a custom club builder since 1978; these personal characteristics have made me very sensitive to the responsiveness of heads and shafts. The combination that Wilson developed in this wood set is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it to the majority of golfers.

The Bad

None.
