golf Hi-Tec Matchplay FT Golf Shoes
The Intro
Hi-Tec Matchplay FT Golf Shoes are both the first pair of golf shoes with Black Widow soft spikes I’ve used, and the first Hi-Tec’s.
The Good
The Matchplay FT’s new full-grain Leather provides excellent support, fit and durability. Also features the heat responsive IntelliShield membrane, which allows perspiration to evaporate faster.
I was pleasantly surprised by the soft spikes, which offered great support and control. Also allowed in the clubhouse with these on which is a bonus!
The Bad
Though the padding around the collar and tongue of these Hi-Tec golf shoes provides good comfort qualities, I found that the toe is a little pointed for me, as I have quite wide feet.
That said the cushioned footbed and EVA outsole delivers lightweight comfort and flexibility: a definite plus point on the golf course.
Overall Rating
The Matchplay FT’s are a fine, reasonably priced pair of golf shoes from Hi-Tec. I feel I’m going to get excellent value out of these.
