“The Championship Course” as the 9 hole golf course at Addington Court (in Croydon, South London) is known, is a nice course for the beginner/intermediate golfer. With alternating par 3’s and par 4’s, it offers a relaxing selection of holes, without ever over complicating things for the novice.

The first hole offers your best birdie chance: a 107 yard downward sloping affair. The second allows you to open your shoulders a little more with 262 yards to the pin.

The 6th hole is by far the most challenging on this golf course: a 352 yard par 4, with a precariously positioned tree that blocks your straight line from the tee to the fairway.

The course attracts golfers of all abilities, so it is not uncommon to get stuck behind some slow players. Though, on a good day, it is easy to get round in 90 minutes.

Addington Court also offers 2 full 18 hole golf courses, an 18 hole pitch’n'putt and a driving range.
